Milano Cortina 2026 will see around 3,000 athletes battle to get their hands on a medal and do their country proud.

But it's us, the viewers, that will be the real winners. Whether you like to see competitors flying down a mountain at breakneck speeds, hurtling across the ice, elegantly flying through the air, or all of the above, the next fortnight is sure to thrill.

The true beauty of watching the Games is that there's every chance an event you've never heard of can draw you in – becoming your new obsession or just having you screaming at your TV for an hour or two.

Milano Cortina 2026's 19-day schedule is made up of 116 medal events across 16 disciplines, including a debut for ski mountaineering, so there is something for everyone to dig their teeth into.

RadioTimes.com brings you the full list of sports and disciplines on show at the Winter Olympics in 2026.
