Novak Djokovic and British No.1 Cameron Norrie are among the early casualties at the US Open 2026.

The pair failed to make it past the first weekend at Flushing Meadows, with Djokovic clearly very emotional on court after his first round defeat to Mariano Navone.
Carlos Alcaraz returns to action at the US Open 2026 but it is Alexander Zverev who is the top seed in the men's draw.
The Spaniard, who beat Jannik Sinner to win the title last year, is back after missing much of the year due to injury. However, fans do not have another clash with Sinner to look forward to as the Italian is absent with a knee issue.
Back-to-back champion Aryna Sabalenka leads the women's field but can expect a challenge from other top seeds such as Elena Rybakina, Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula.
