The opening round of the Cincinnati Open 2026 continues on Friday, with Britain's Harriet Dart among those on court.

The hard court tournament is an ATP and WTA 1000 event and the last stop ahead of the US Open, which means it draws a star-studded field as players go through the gears ahead of the year's fourth and final major.
2025 men's champion Carlos Alcaraz and World No.1 Jannik Sinner are both absent with injury, which leaves Alexander Zverev as top seed.
Iga Świątek returns to defend her title in a strong women's draw that includes nine of the top 10 players in the WTA rankings, with Wimbledon finalist Karolína Muchová the only one to miss out.
From a British perspective, Cam Norrie and Katie Boulter won on Thusday but there were first round losses for both Jack Draper and Jan Choinski.
