The new tournament, which brings together the 12 best teams in the world, will resume in the Northern Hemisphere in the autumn.

Japan are back on home turf after last weekend's defeat to Ireland, which was played in Australia.

The hosts will look to make it two wins in three games but know the size of the challenge facing them as France have impressed so far – losing narrowly to New Zealand in their opener and then outclassing Australia last week.

Radio Times has rounded up everything you need to know about how to watch Japan v France on TV and online.
