A run of five straight race wins helped the Italian teenager streak ahead as the early pacesetter but recent issues have allowed Mercedes teammate George Russell and Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton to close the gap.
With races in back-to-back weekends, the next fortnight feels pivotal as the title rivals battle to take momentum into the summer break.
Spa-Francorchamps is a favourite among the drivers, allowing them to push their cars to high speeds while testing both their talent and their bravery.
For those reasons, it's a popular race with the fans as well and UK viewers can tune into extensive coverage this weekend.
Radio Times brings you a full round-up of how to watch the Belgian Grand Prix 2026 on TV and live stream.
