Wolves begin their new era under César Peixoto with a Carabao Cup first-round tie against Port Vale on Friday evening.

The Old Gold lured Peixoto from Portuguese outfit Gil Vicente after axing Rob Edwards following their dismal Premier League relegation.

Molineux chiefs have also made some eye-catching signings including Kieran Trippier and the return of fan favourite Raul Jimenez, although the latter may not feature having only returned to training less than two weeks ago.

Port Vale also head into the new campaign looking to bounce back from a dismal 2025/26 that saw them relegated from League One.

The Valiants, unbeaten in six pre-season outings under Jon Brady, reached the third round of last season's Carabao Cup before being knocked out by eventual Premier League champions Arsenal.

Radio Times has rounded up everything you need to know about how to watch Wolves v Port Vale on TV and online.
