The end of August means one thing in the tennis calendar: it's time for the US Open.

The fourth and final grand slam, played on the hard courts of Flushing Meadows, New York, marks the end of the summer schedule.

Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz is back, having missed the French Open and Wimbledon with an injury that has kept him sidelined since April.

However, World No.1 Jannik Sinner has been forced to pull out due to a knee issue, which gives the men's draw an open feel.

Aryna Sabalenka bids to extend her dominance in the women's event after winning the title in the past two years but faces plenty of competition in the likes of Coco Gauff, Elena Rybakina and Alexandra Eala.

Jack Draper and 2021 champion Emma Raducanu are absent due to injury but there is a strong British contingent, led by Cam Norrie, Arthur Fery and Katie Boulter.

It's set to be a fantastic fortnight of hard-court tennis and there will be extensive coverage for UK viewers.

Radio Times brings you all the TV coverage details you need to watch US Open 2026.
