The popular charity match will see a host of celebs and footballing royalty take to the pitch in front of a sold-out Old Trafford crowd to raise money for a good cause.

In the nearly two decades since the very first event, Soccer Aid has raised over £100 million, and is set to bump that number up even more with this year's match.

Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney will be returning to his old stomping grounds as a player-manager for England, with Harry Redknapp and Tyson Fury, among others, joining him on the bench.

They'll be in charge of an England team that boasts a host of ex-pros like Joe Hart, Toni Duggan and Michael Carrick, as well as famous faces like Sir Mo Farah, Paddy McGuinness and a long-awaited return for ex-One Direction star Louis Tomlinson.

They'll be up against a tough challenge in the World XI, however, with legendary goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel in charge of a team that includes Leonardo Bonucci, Edwin van der Sar, Harry Kewell, Nadia Nadim, Carlos Tevez and Nemanja Matic, among others.

Joining them are rugby star Brian Habana, Line of Duty's Martin Compston, and Baby Reindeer's Richard Gadd, as well as Tobi Brown, Gorka Marquez, Roman Kemp and more.

World XI are currently winning 7-6 in the head-to-head standings, but following a bumper 6-3 win for England last year, they'll be hoping to extend their lead once more.

So, who are the confirmed names taking to Old Trafford to fight for this year's crown? Read on for the full list of celebrities and footballing legends taking part in Soccer Aid 2025.
