The Whites were beaten 3-2 by Championship club Wrexham in their first friendly outing last weekend as head coach Daniel Farke handed a maiden appearance to new signing Harry Wilson.

Sam Smith's late goal condemned Leeds to defeat and Farke believed his team were tired after an intense week of double training sessions.

Sunderland were also beaten in their opening match on tour as they were downed 4-2 by Liverpool.

The Black Cats have more minutes in their legs compared to Leeds as Regis Le Bris's team beat York 5-1 before jetting off to America.

Sunderland round off their tour against Wrexham on Sunday before Leeds tackle Liverpool in their final game Stateside.
