The campaign opener marks the start of Derek McInnes's tenure with the visitors, having left Hearts to take charge at Ibrox and taken striker Lawrence Shankland with him.

Rangers could not sustain their title challenge last season, finishing third behind the Jambos and winners Celtic, but will hope that 2026/27 can see them back on top.

Dundee United are heading into their second season under Jim Goodwin, having finished seventh last term.

Goodwin has made it clear his side have their eye on the European spots and has challenged his players to show "no fear" on Friday.

Radio Times has rounded up everything you need to know about how to watch Dundee United v Rangers on TV and online.
