European football history will be made on Wednesday when either Crystal Palace or Rayo Vallecano will get their hands on a continental crown for the first time.

The pair of first-time finalists meet in the Conference League decider at Red Bull Arena in Leipzig to cap off a hard-fought campaign.

Crystal Palace outclassed Shakhtar Donetsk in the semi-finals to punch their ticket to the final, which will be the last game of Oliver Glasner's tenure, as the German has confirmed he will leave the South London club this summer.

It would be fitting for Glasner, who delivered the Eagles' first-ever major trophy by winning the FA Cup last year, to sign off on a high.

But Rayo Vallecano, a top-half team in LaLiga, are chasing history of their own and will prove a tough test for Palace – as their semi-final victory over Strasbourg proved.

Last season, and in previous campaigns, all three UEFA finals were made available to watch for free by TNT Sports but will UK viewers be treated to the same this term?

Will the Conference League final 2026 be available to watch for free?

No. As things stand, there are no confirmed plans for the Conference League final to be available to watch for free.

Despite English teams contesting all three European finals, TNT Sports has made the decision not to make the showpiece games available free of charge, which, according to a report from The Guardian, has frustrated UEFA.

Last season, fans could tune in to watch the Conference League final on YouTube or by signing up for free for discovery+, which was the streaming partner of TNT Sports before the recent switch to HBO Max.

However, TNT Sports is offering viewers the chance to watch all three European finals, including Crystal Palace v Rayo Vallecano, at no extra cost to all HBO Max subscribers on any Monthly or Saver Plan – starting from Basic with Ads (£4.99/month) and above.

HBO Max is included in some Sky TV packages so it's worth checking as you might already have access to the game.
