Barcelona are looking to regain the Women's Champions League crown when they face familiar foes Lyon in the final at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo on Saturday.

It is their sixth consecutive appearance in the showpiece and Pere Romeu's team are back for another crack after last year's 1-0 defeat to Arsenal denied them a hat-trick of titles.

Barcelona meet Lyon for the third time in that period and it's one-all between the sides as Lyon scored a 3-1 victory in the 2022 final before the Catalan club gained revenge with a 2-0 success a couple of years later.

There's an added layer of intrigue to this year's match as Jonatan Giráldez, who masterminded Barcelona's triumph in 2024, takes his place in Lyon's dugout.

Barcelona, who boast this season's joint-top scorer Ewa Pajor in their ranks, knocked out Real Madrid and Bayern Munich en route to the final. Lyon dumped out reigning champions Arsenal in the semi-finals.
