It's the third pre-season fixture on their summer schedule and Unai Emery's team are looking to bounce back from a 2-1 defeat at Portuguese champions Porto last Saturday.

Villa academy star Luka Lynch hit his second goal of pre-season to cancel out William Gomes's early strike before Pepe settled the contest before the half-time break.

Alejandro Garnacho could make his first Villa appearance since joining on loan from Chelsea, although fellow new boy Johan Manzambi is unlikely to feature after his exploits at the World Cup were cut short by a knee injury.

Real Sociedad enjoyed a winning start to their training camp in England as they came from behind to beat Wolves, who were relegated from the Premier League last term, at the Bescot at the weekend.

Radio Times has rounded up everything you need to know about how to watch Aston Villa v Real Sociedad on TV and online.
