Argentina aim to continue their World Cup defence against Switzerland in the fourth and final quarter-final.

The holders looked down and out when they trailed two Egypt goals with time running out but Lionel Messi sparked a remarkable, if a little controversial, comeback to send them through to the quarter-finals.

Though Argentina have lived dangerously at this summer's tournament, they keep coming up with big moments when it matters.

Switzerland will relish their role as underdogs after holding their nerve to beat Colombia on penalties in the cagiest knock-out game of the tournament so far.

The Swiss will feel they can get after their South American opponents and that a spot in the semi-finals, against either Norway or England, is within reach.
