Tadej Pogačar bids to join the list of cyclists to win all three Grand Tours at the Vuelta a Espana 2026.

The 27-year-old won a record-equalling fourth Tour de France earlier this year and will now look to cement his place among the sport's greats.

Eight riders have won the three Grand Tours – the Giro d'Italia, the Tour de France and the Vuelta, including Britain's Chris Froome, but the feeling is that Pogačar will make that nine in his first appearance since 2019.

Defending champion Jonas Vingegaard will not defend his 2025 title after a season-ending injury in France, which leaves the likes of Felix Gall and Richard Carapaz among those set to challenge Pogačar.

This year's Vuelta starts in Monaco, riding through four stages in France and Andorra before arriving in Spain.

After 21 gruelling stages, totalling 3,275 km, this year's champion will be crowned in Granada in mid-September.

Radio Times brings you all the details about how to watch the Vuelta a Espana 2026.
