After months of sniffing around the Emmerdale millionaire, who viewers know is Thea’s birth mother, her long-buried resentment is finally beginning to present itself. A scuffle has ensued between mother and daughter, and when the latter is stabbed, blood begins to pour out.
At the hospital, Kim fears that she’ll have to face the consequences of her actions. Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough), meanwhile, follows a series of clues towards the kidnapper. Who is it, and why have they taken the infant?
Elsewhere, Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt) is stunned to find Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson) dead in the veterinary practice. Later, an intruder holds Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson), Marlon and Chas Dingle (Mark Charnock and Lucy Pargeter) at gunpoint.
But is the situation all that it seems?
Plus, at Mill Cottage, Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) continues to sink her claws into Caleb and Ruby Miligan (William Ash and Beth Cordingly).
Here's everything happening in the episodes of Emmerdale airing between Sunday 25 and Friday 30 October.
3 Emmerdale spoilers for next week
1. Baby Tate is kidnapped - and Thea Ramsden is stabbed

Claire King as Kim Tate and Andrew Scarborough as Graham Foster. ITV
Kim finds herself plunged into a horrific nightmare when baby Tate is snatched from the cottage. Desperate to keep the terrifying ordeal from Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), she takes matters into her own hands, secretly enlisting Thea's help while insisting the police must remain out of it.
But whoever has taken the baby is determined to keep Kim on edge. Ransom demands arrive via a tablet, accompanied by photographs of the family taken at the cottage, while Graham is summoned to a location chosen by the kidnapper.
As panic takes hold, Kim begins to suspect that Thea could be behind the abduction. Remembering the copper's hostility towards her following the crash that killed Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) and Jimmy King (Nick Miles), Kim confronts her and demands answers.

When Thea loses her temper, Kim bolts - but her desperate attempt to escape ends in disaster when she stabs her daughter.
With Thea seriously wounded, Kim presses her to reveal where the baby is being held. She accuses that Kim intended to sell the child, leaving the millionaire momentarily stunned. Realising she may have targeted the wrong person, Kim watches in horror as Thea loses consciousness, leaving her with no answers and a rapidly deteriorating situation.

Thankfully, Graham’s trip to Home Farm Stables brings a major breakthrough when he finds baby Tate safe and well. But the relief is short-lived, as the identity of the real kidnapper is finally exposed.
Meanwhile, Kim rushes Thea to hospital, only to face another frightening prospect when a doctor insists the police must be contacted. With questions looming over the stabbing, she fears that her desperate actions could have devastating consequences.
2. Sadie King manipulates Caleb and Ruby Miligan

Sadie has spotted an opportunity to exploit Caleb's worries about Ruby’s drinking - and she’s more than happy to use it to her advantage. Offering to keep an eye on Ruby, she presents herself as a helpful friend while secretly working to tear the couple apart.
Her plan begins by telling Ruby that Caleb has asked her to monitor her behaviour. Suggesting that his concern is really about control, she pushes Ruby towards rebellion, encouraging her to head to The Woolpack for another drink.
Sadie then steers the conversation towards Manpreet Sharma’s (Rebecca Sarker) past, sparking a heated public confrontation that leaves Ruby in a bad light. When Caleb steps in, Sadie switches tactics, offering him a very different account of events.

Her claims that she tried to prevent Ruby from drinking only fuel the growing mistrust between them.
The following day, Sadie continues her campaign, questioning Caleb’s behaviour and suggesting he is becoming controlling. Ruby remains unconvinced, but Sadie’s apparent concern leaves her feeling grateful to have someone on her side.
However, her next move could prove costly. Before an important business meeting, she persuades Ruby to have a drink. Caleb arrives to find wine in front of his wife and is furious, while Sadie acts as though she has done nothing wrong.

Already primed to see Caleb as controlling, Ruby reacts to his anger by pointedly taking a swig of her drink. Unfortunately, a client witnesses the ensuing row and leaves with a decidedly poor impression of the business owner. With the meeting in ruins, the Miligans trade accusations before Ruby storms off.
Once she’s gone, Sadie wastes no time reinforcing fears that Ruby has a serious problem with alcohol. And while Caleb is left questioning his partner’s behaviour, Sadie continues whispering doubts in her ear.
With both sides being fed carefully chosen lies, Sadie’s manipulation is beginning to pay off. But how long can she keep her double game going before someone sees through it?

3. Liam Cavanagh takes part in a dangerous murder mystery event

Jonny McPherson as Liam Cavanagh and Nick Pearce as Dave. ITV
Liam returns to the village after a night away, with Manpreet alongside him - a sight that immediately raises suspicions amongst the residents. Chas is quick to accuse the pair of having an affair, but her theory collapses when Claudette Anderson (Flo Wilson) reveals that the trio had actually been attending a murder mystery event.
Liam attempts to explain why Chas was left out, but his efforts only make matters worse. Concerned for her, Marlon suggests she could turn the tables by proving Liam’s assumptions about her wrong. And Chas appears to take that advice to heart.
The following day, Paddy is sickened to stumble across a murder victim at the vets, complete with a knife in their back. Liam and Chas soon find him in a panic, and he leads them to Mary’s corpse.

It quickly becomes clear that Chas has arranged her own murder mystery experience for Liam, and rest assured, Mary isn't dead. Delighted by the surprise, he throws himself into the game, though his enthusiasm soon begins to fade and Chas is frustrated.
But the game is about to become far more dangerous than either of them could have imagined.
While attempting to solve one of Chas’s clues, Liam answers a knock at the door and finds a man named Dave standing outside. Assuming the visitor is another participant in the game, he makes a catastrophic error of judgement and allows the fella to tie him up.

Liam remains oblivious to the very real danger unfolding around him. Everything changes when Dylan Penders (Nick Pearce) arrives and is horrified to find Dave (Nick Pearce) there. The truth soon emerges: Dylan has reported the man to the police, and he's not about to let him get away with it.
As Liam begins to realise that this is no longer a game, Marlon and Chas arrive on the scene. But their attempt to intervene ends in disaster when Dave knocks Marlon unconscious. With tensions escalating, Liam and Chas desperately try to reason with the armed intruder. Their efforts are in vain when Dave produces a gun and forces Chas outside.
The murder mystery has turned into a genuine nightmare, with Liam, Chas and Marlon caught in the middle of a terrifying confrontation. Can anyone stop Dave before the situation turns deadly?
