Viewers have watched her steamy affair with Max Branning (Jake Wood) unfold over months, and each time they've promised to stay away from one another, the urge to reconnect has been too much to resist.

This is despite his forthcoming marriage to Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), who is utterly oblivious to what has been going on.

Shortly after deciding to end things for good, Priya accepted Ravi's proposal and began rebuilding the life they once shared. It seemed to be going swimmingly, until she fell pregnant with Max's child.

In today's episode, a fresh problem landed on Priya's doorstep. She spotted son Davinder "Nugget" Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) dealing weed and scolded him, with Max stepping in to support her. She was thankful for his help, and it made telling Ravi about the predicament a little easier.

Ravi warned the teen that it was a dangerous path he was heading down, and wanted him to swear that he'd not follow in his footsteps.

The progress that Ravi was making impressed Priya, who thought it was high time that they told the kids about their engagement. Thrilled by the prospect of making things official, Ravi decided to quiz her a little further about the mystery man she was seeing before they reconciled.

Ravi asked whether the fella was someone he knew, and when she insisted that he wasn't, he remarked: "Good, because I'd have had to of killed him."

Priya looked mortified.

Later, after picking up her keys from the car lot office, Max insisted on walking her back to her apartment. The pair shared a flirtatious moment beside the front door, unaware that Ravi was watching on.

Has he caught her out?
