After defeating Evelyn Maddox (Jelena Stupljanin) and breaking her hold over the Trappist colonists, the survivors have finally set down on a habitable world, dubbed Homebase 1, ending years of life aboard the ship.

Now, season 3 splits its focus in two. One group stays planet-side to build a permanent colony, while Captain Sharon Garnet (Christie Burke) takes Ark One back into space on a search-and-rescue mission for the other lost Ark vessels.

"That's what's so great about season three is there's so many new storylines," star Christie Burke said. "It's more about everybody's own internal journey. Everyone's favorite character has—for lack of a pun—an arc this season, which makes for a more colourful show."

It is a bigger canvas than either previous season, but when do new episodes of the series land? Read on to find out.
