The animated series, inspired by Critical Role's wildly popular Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, has always maintained a generous release schedule, which gifts fans multiple episodes at a time over the course of an abbreviated run.

Season 4 picks up a year after the battle against the Chroma Conclave, with Vox Machina scattered far apart in search of "love, family and purpose" – but their break from world-saving was destined not to last long.

With a long-slumbering evil now threatening the realm, the party must reunite once again, setting up plenty more chaos, carnage and questionable decision-making in the process.

In our The Legend of Vox Machina season 4 review, we call the latest episodes a "refreshing reset" after a third instalment that left some viewers underwhelmed, adding that it maintains a more varied balance of darkness and humour.
