One Piece is continuing its long-running anime journey with the Elbaph Arc, as Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates explore the legendary home of the giants.

Following the series’ return in April 2026, new episodes have been arriving weekly on Crunchyroll, with Netflix and BBC iPlayer also offering ways to watch selected parts of the adventure. However, release times and which episodes are available vary between platforms and regions.

With episode 1171 now available and the next instalment approaching, fans will not have long to wait for the story to continue.

So, here is the latest full One Piece release schedule, including when the next episode is out, what time it will arrive in all regions, and where you can watch the anime.

What time are new episodes of One Piece released?

New episodes of One Piece are released on Crunchyroll at 9am PT on Sundays (confirmed via Crunchyroll’s summer line-up), following their Japanese television broadcast.

For fans ready to continue the Elbaph Arc in other regions, that translates to:

The One Piece anime returned with its Elbaph Arc on 5 April 2026, beginning a new two-cour production format; the next episode, 1172 at the time of writing, will release on Sunday 2 August 2026.

The release schedule so far is as follows:

Assuming there are no additional breaks, the remaining episodes are expected to follow weekly on Sundays. However, later dates remain subject to confirmation and may change if another special or production delay is announced.

How many episodes are there in One Piece?

One Piece reached 1,171 numbered episodes on Sunday 26 July 2026, with episode 1,172 scheduled to follow on 2 August.

However, there is no confirmed final episode count for the anime as a whole, which is continuing to adapt Eiichiro Oda’s unfinished manga.

From this year onwards, Toei Animation announced plans to release approximately 26 new episodes each year across two cours. The change is intended to give each episode more time to cover the manga’s story, rhythm and pacing than the anime’s previous continuous weekly model allowed.

That annual figure should not be treated as a confirmed total for the entire Elbaph Arc, as Toei has described it as the anime’s wider yearly production target rather than a definitive arc episode count.

Where can I watch One Piece?

The best place to watch the latest episodes of One Piece in the UK and US is Crunchyroll, which receives each instalment shortly after it airs in Japan.

New episodes are also released on Netflix, although the streaming service is generally one week behind Crunchyroll.

BBC iPlayer is another option in the UK, particularly for viewers watching the English dub, with a substantial portion of the anime available through the service. Keep in mind, however, that the Japanese version with subtitles is not available on iPlayer.
