The American version of the British hit remained something of a niche show among TV fans until it blew up in 2024, leading to last year's season becoming Peacock's most-watched unscripted original series of all time with over 18 billion minutes watched.

But that means the pressure is on this year with the new series so highly anticipated. Thankfully the cast does not disappoint, with a line-up of 11 new singletons ready to enter the Fijian villa, guided all the while by host Ariana Madix.

It was originally set to be 12 contestants but Vasana Montgomery, who was announced as part of the line-up, was dropped before the start of the show.

So as we wait to find out how the new US Islanders get on inside the villa, read on to find out more about the cast of Love Island USA season 8.
