Ahead of the National Television Awards next week, Radio Times sat down with host Joel Dommett, who revealed he'd love to take part in Celebrity Traitors.

"Oh yeah, I'd love to do it because I'm a fan of the show," he told RT. "I'm a big fan of the show but I think I'd also be quite bad at it."

But Dommett doesn't think he'd last long whether he was a Faithful or a Traitor.

He said: "I think I'd be better at being a Faithful because I like the idea of trying to work it out. But I think people would think I'm a Traitor because I'm so nice, I'd be the obvious choice."

The celebrity edition of the reality series first premiered last year and saw Alan Carr crowned the winner. Later this year, 21 celebrities are stepping up to the challenge in the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust.

Earlier this year, the BBC has confirmed a new three-year deal that will keep The Traitors and The Celebrity Traitors on BBC One until at least 2030.

The fifth season of The Traitors will arrive on BBC One and iPlayer in 2027 and will be followed by season 6 in 2028, season 7 in 2029 and season 8 in 2030.

Meanwhile, The Celebrity Traitors season 2 will arrive later in 2026 and will be followed by season 3 in 2027, season 4 in 2028 and season 5 in 2029.

So there are plenty more celebrity editions Dommett could join!
