ITV's The Masked Singer continues on with its third season this weekend and while we have seen the likes of Will Young and Pat Cash revealed as singers so far, several costumes remain on - but not for long.

The remaining Masked Singer celebrities will be battling it out again this weekend for the chance to remain in the competition, including Poodle, but the mask will be coming off at least one famous face this weekend, the question is who.
Elton John's Rocket Man was the first choice for the canine contestant, followed up by some music from Sir Tom Jones.
But who is Poodle, and what are the clues and guesses we have had so far?

Is Poodle Gary Barlow?

While Poodle's identity is yet to be confirmed, many viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the celebrity behind the character – and many are convinced it is Take That star Gary Barlow.
Some fans think that Gary could be putting on a fake accent to play Poodle based on his familiar-sounding singing voice.
Is Poodle Paul O'Grady?

Well for starters, we know that Paul is a big dog lover given that he has a show all about our furry friends – so the costume itself is certainly a big hint that this is our man.
The other clues also point to Paul and his time playing Lily Savage, so file this one under likely and consider us surprised if the mask comes off and someone else is under it.
Is Poodle Brian Cox?
"NO IT'S BRIAN COX the big hair from his band days and the science," said one user on Twitter for who Poodle could be. Cox is known for his love of science and the shows he presents that talk about that very subject.
But he does have a musical background as a part of the band D-Ream who gave us the hit, Things Can Only Get Better - a song many of us have had on repeat since early in 2020...
