We're only a week away from Outlander: Blood of My Blood's season finale, with the latest episode of the prequel series delivering a tense and emotional instalment.

Episode 8 brought with it the horrifying moment of truth as Ellen was subjected to an invasive and humiliating 'test' of her virginity.

It also saw Henry and Julia crossing paths for a brief, tender but bittersweet reunion, in which he learned she named the baby William.

Outlander: Blood of My Blood follows the dramatic love stories of Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) – future parents to Sam Heughan's Jamie – as well as Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine), who would go on to raise Caitríona Balfe's Claire.

If you've been following Outlander: Blood of My Blood avidly, read on to find out when the next episode is set to air on MGM+ here in the UK – and which week the show will be skipping entirely.
