The new series, which has been written by The Pitt creator R Scott Gemmill, follows Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) as he's called back to his hometown of New York City for a new assignment.
Partnered with rogue agent Nick (played by Scott Caan), he's tasked with leading a new team as part of a high-stakes mission to protect one of the most vital cities and ports in the world.
"I won't stop until I find out what happened, I promise you," Sam says in the trailer.
The footage also gives us a glimpse at the dynamic between Sam and Nick, with Nick telling Sam: "Try not to break anything, due to your size," to which Sam responds: "Try not to fall into one of these cracks, due to your size."

There are currently three other ongoing series in the NCIS universe alongside NCIS: New York – the original show, NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney, which is gearing up for a third season in 2027.
However, the much-anticipated spin-off NCIS: Tony & Ziva was axed after just one season in December 2025.
