Season 3 begins exactly where season 2 left off, which saw Cole finally confess his true feelings for Jackie, and her reciprocating. However, Alex, who Jackie has been secretly seeing, has been listening to the conversation.
We also find out that something has happened to Walter patriarch George, as we saw an ambulance arriving. Just how bad it is, we will have to wait and see.
Gentry told Tudum: "Everyone’s reality has shattered a little bit, and they’re picking up the pieces of that and trying to put it back together again."
Halsall added that season 3 kicks off with an "emotional" first episode, and "a lot of this season, more than other seasons, is about growing up, maturing, and stepping up".
As teased by Netflix, season 3 follows Alex as he turns to his new rodeo riding team, and Cole gets back in the driver's seat of his life. Elsewhere, Jackie pours her heart into developing the town's community space.
