Meet Billy Wiggins Chemist, drug addict and Sherlock's sometime protege, in episode two of series four we find Billy Wiggins staying with Sherlock at Baker Street, apparently having set up some kind of drugs lab in the kitchen. Billy is based – extremely loosely – on original Sherlock Holmes character Wiggins, the leader of The Baker Street Irregulars, the gang of street urchins who help Holmes with his cases.

What else has Tom Brooke been in? Game of Thrones fans will recognise Brooke as one of Walder Frey's despicable sons, "Lame" Lothar from season three. He's currently appearing in US comic book-based series Preacher as Fiore and was also seen in BBC Shakespeare adaptation The Hollow Crown: Henry V.
