Episodes in the second season of London-based police thriller series Criminal Record are continuing to release weekly, with this season seeing Cush Jumbo's June Lenker and Peter Capaldi's Daniel Hegarty trying to thwart a far-right bomb threat.
The threat is coming from Cosmo Thompson’s (Dustin Demri-Burns) far-right group, and the duo have a mole on the inside, in the form of Luther Ford's Billy.
They also have a new team this time around, including Lyndsey Marshal's Ivy Mullins and Luca Pasqualino's JP, the latter of whome June has begun an affair with.
Jumbo spoke with us exclusively about this development, and said that June is drawn to JP because he's "pretty oppositional to her partner".
She continued: "There's something going on with June, which is about flipping her life. I think when her son kind of moves away from her, home becomes a very empty place. It's really magnified how much she doesn't really want to be there, and how much it's not speaking to her current sense of self anymore.
"I think part of it with JP is that it's fun. It's a real remedy to what's going on, but strangely, it comes out of her being so upset and them slightly trauma bonding over what had happened with Rohaan."
But when will more episodes of Criminal Record season 2 arrive on the streamer and what is the full schedule for the rest of the season?
