Featuring accounts from survivors who have never spoken publicly before, the docuseries charts TV presenter Harris’s rise from suburban Perth to the heights of British fame and influence.

As later investigations would reveal, Harris used his status and access to abuse young girls and women that unfolded behind the scenes for decades.

Rolf Harris was an Australian-born TV personality, musician and artist who made his start in 1953. Over the course of his career, he released several songs including Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport, Sun Arise, Jake the Peg and Two Little Boys, which reached number one in the UK.

We went on to host Animal Hospital and Star Portraits and was a popular figure on UK TV.

However his reputation collapsed when he was arrested as part of Operation Yewtree regarding historical allegations of sexual offences in 2013. He denied any wrongdoing and went on trial the following year.

In July 2014, Harris was sentenced to five years and nine months in prison after being convicted on 12 counts of indecent assault on four girls in the 1960s, '70s and '80s.

Harris was jailed for five years and nine months. He served three years of his sentence before he was released in 2017.

One count, that Harris indecently assaulted an eight-year-old girl in Portsmouth, was overturned as unsafe in 2017. Harris applied for permission to appeal against his convictions concerning the three remaining girls, but permission was refused.
