The new three-part biopic, titled Lando, is a never-before-seen look at the current champion, a man who is not only defending his crown but also giving unprecedented access to a more personal side of his life.

Lando will debut on Prime Video in 2027.

Filming Norris' life over the course of the summer leading up to his 27th birthday, the docuseries gives an authentic insight into the McLaren driver's world from the antics of a holiday with his friends, to more personal and quieter moments with his family; to the highs of winning his first GP of the season; from the profile that comes with being one of the biggest names in global sport.

"I’m really excited to be doing this with Prime Video," Lando Norris said.

"We’ve been filming for a while already and I’ve had a lot of fun with it. I already share a lot of what I get up to, but this is going to give people more access than ever before to my life away from racing,"

Norris began racing go karts in Bristol as a child and quickly fell in love with the sport, eventually pursuing it as a career after taking inspiration from his idols, including the legendary Valentino Rossi. He joined Formula 1 in 2019 at 19 years old and debuted at the Australian Grand Prix.

In a first-look clip from the documentary, Norris films himself speaking to the camera, saying of the upcoming series: "It's going to be taking you well into depth about my life, about my while life away from the race track, stuff that you never really see. Some of you might have seen over the course of my career me filming my own videos, my Lando-logs, where I get to try and take you behind the scenes but this is going to be way bigger, way better."

He continued: "For a lot of you, you're part of that journey and this is my chance to get to share more of that with you because you're always there supporting me every single weekend. You pretty much are the reason I do all of this and I'm just very excited to share this all with you.

"It will be coming out next season, 2027, so we still have plenty more filming to do, plenty more experiences to share with you guys. I can't wait. So, hope you're gonna like it, hope you the like news. I can't wait for you guys to see it in 2027. So, until then."

Lando will be coming to Prime Video in 2027.
