Season 3 featured a prominent storyline in which men's team player Colin Hughes came out, and Temple told Out that the show continuing to explore storylines such as this is "a no-brainer".

Temple said: "I don't think it should be a second thought. I think it should be a part of all things, really. I'm so proud to be part of a show that has embraced that for a while. I think it's such a beautiful community of people. We should be curious. We should be kind and we should include everybody in that."

Swift added: "Inclusivity has got to be the norm and it is becoming that. It's a last cry from some of these people who are trying to stop it. The same with all queer culture and everything. It should be integrated and we'd all be better for it."

Meanwhile, Waddingham said: "There should be no divide. Every person I have in my life or broadly know in the queer community are exceptionally good eggs and beautiful, creative people. I think the people that try and keep you guys down are the ones that are intimidated by that beauty."
