Refurbished is no longer a foreign word to us. A YouGov study in December found that 61% of Brits say they would be willing to buy refurbished item, which makes eBay's flourishing stock of pre-loved products even more tantalising.

While the reseller is typically known for an online marketplace of second-hand products, from tech and gaming to clothing and homeware, eBay is also home to hundreds, if not thousands, of top quality refurbished products.
Fashion, collectibles and luxury are just some of the items you can buy from their refurbished store, all lovingly restored to 100% functionality by a range of vetted sellers and manufacturers.

What does refurbished mean on eBay?
To start, 'refurbished' or 'pre-loved' doesn't just mean second-hand. Refurbished products are items that have been tested and restored to 100% functionality by vetted sellers or the original manufacturer.
Rather than selling the item in its existing condition, the previous owner will have sent it back via a returns policy or sold it to a trade-in site. The manufacturer or seller will then put the product through extensive testing and repaired any faults before selling it as refurbished.
Products are then assigned a condition by eBay, e.g. Good, Very Good, Excellent, and Certified, so you know exactly what standard you’re getting.
