How to watch Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026
Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 can be watched on YouTube.
The stream will be available on both the official Gamescom and The Game Awards YouTube channels, and we'll add a link closer to the actual date.
You can also catch it live on Twitch, if you'd prefer that instead.
For more info, check out the official Gamescom website.
Who is hosting Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026?
As per tradition, journalist and presenter Geoff Keighley will be hosting.
You'll probably recognise him as the host of The Game Awards, and the Summer Game Fest.
He is perhaps the biggest face in the gaming events sphere, perennially rubbing shoulders with the biggest names in gaming, like his best bud Hideo Kojima. You can't get much cooler than that.

Which games will feature at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026?
So far, there are no games that have been confirmed for Opening Night Live itself, but based on some of the studios that are attending Gamescom, we have a few guesses.
We think these games are fairly likely to make an appearance:
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4
- Gears of War: E-Day
- Fable
- Stranger than Heaven
- Castlevania: Belmont's Curse
- Star Wars Zero Company
- Alien: Isolation 2
- The Blood of Dawnwalker
- Valor Mortis
- Silent Hill f
- Onimusha: Way of the Sword
- Rayman Legends Retold
- RuneScape: Dragonwilds
- Phantom Blade 0
These are only some of the games that we think are likely to feature, and we wouldn't be surprised to see plenty more that we've forgotten about, as well as the customary world premieres!
