Another day, another new event in Pokémon TCG Pocket.

Fresh Pokémon TCG Pocket events are confirmed in-game on the news section of the app.

As of writing, just one event is currently under way. It comes to an end at 5:59am on 13th December, though, so get in there fast if you want to make the most of it!

While we can see what's currently happening in the game, what about events that are to come? Well, rumours and leaks have given us an idea of what to expect.

What event is live now in Pokémon TCG Pocket?

As of 29th November 2024, there is one event currently live in Pokémon TCG Pocket: The Venusaur Drop Event.

Pokémon TCG Pocket Venusaur Drop Event explained

The Venasaur Drop Event is taking place between 29th November until 13th December 2024 (at 5:59am UK time).

As per the in-app description of the Event, "Drop events are events where you can get promo cards by doing solo battles.

"You can check the details by tapping Guide on the event's screen."

During the event, you can earn Promo-A cards in promo packs. If you earn a promo pack, it will be sent to the Gift section of the game.

You can earn the following Promo-A cards from rewarded promo packs during the Venusaur Drop event:

What Pokémon TCG Pocket events are confirmed?

The only confirmed upcoming event/new feature coming to Pokémon TCG Pocket in the future is Trading.

This was confirmed in an official roadmap for the game, which also confirms more events are on the way and that the development team is planning to add new booster packs by the end of the year.

What Pokémon TCG Pocket events are rumoured?

Thanks to a datamine of the game, a couple of Pokémon TCG Pocket events have been leaked. These are two more Wonder Pick Events.

You can find the full details of the leaked Pokémon TCG events below:

The Wonder Pick Events are rumoured to be just like the Meowth/Chansey Wonder Pick Event, which had themed wonder picks and its own item shop with tickets.

As with all rumours and leaks, it’s best to take the above with a generous pinch of salt. Time will tell if the leaked events do happen, and we’ll update this page with official information as soon as we’re able once it it has been confirmed.
