UK Pokémon fans will have the chance to enjoy an exclusive exhibition at Legoland Windsor later this year, ahead of the upcoming LEGO Pokémon launch.

The Pokémon x LEGO collaboration was announced earlier this year, bringing new Smart Play functionality to a series of Pokémon-themed sets.
And ahead of the sets going on sale later this year, it has been announced that UK fans will be able to access a limited-time LEGO Pokémon Play Zone at Legoland Resorts from 20 July to 31 August 2026 as part of the resort's yearly LEGO Festival.
In a press release, it was confirmed that: "Guests can expect hands-on activities, and creative interactive play and see the newly announced LEGO Pokémon Smart Play sets as part of the ultimate summer celebration of family fun."
The Play Zones will allow fans to go hands-on with the new sets, training their Pokémon and taking part in battles, as well as seeing how the Smart Brick functionality interacts with the new LEGO sets.
In a statement from Legoland Windsor vice president Neil Poulter, he noted that: "Pokémon is loved by kids and adults alike, and seeing parents share that fandom with their children creates lifelong memories across generations."

As well as Windsor, the LEGO Pokémon Play Zone will be up and running at other Legoland Resorts around the world, including those in California, Germany and New York.
Following the start of the event, players will be able to order the sets from 1 August onwards, with a total of 12 available options.
These range in complexity from smaller sets focused on a single Pokémon, to larger ones that include multiple Pokémon and an arena-esque setting to stage battles.
LEGO has been no stranger to gaming collaborations in recent years, with the recent release of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight being strong evidence that they have no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
On the Pokémon front, The Pokémon Company will be hoping that this collaboration goes some way towards building excitement for the series ahead of the launch of Pokémon Winds and Waves, expected to arrive next year.
