Pokémon Go Choose Your Path rewards: Which one should you pick?

In something of a test run, there is a new branching quest for players to try out in Pokémon Go, and so you’re up to speed, we’ve got all the Pokémon Go Choose Your Path rewards listed, as well as which one you should pick.

It’s a good way to help alleviate the post-Pokémon Go Fest blues, an event which we reckon is the perfect gamer holiday, especially when it’s in a city near you.

However, it could prove stressful if you end up picking a Quest that ends up being a drag for you, fortunuately with our advice, you can see exactly what’s on offer and what is required of you for each.

With that in mind, read on for the full scoop on Pokémon Go Choose Your Path rewards and which to choose!

Pokémon Go Choose Your Path quests and rewards

There are three Choose Your Path Timed Research Tasks to select in Pokémon Go, and these are Explore, Catch and Battle.

There are a few steps you have to complete before choosing which one, but after you do, you cannot change to a different one, so be sure to choose wisely!

The first step is fairly easy; all you have to do is claim a reward of 500 Stardust, and this itself will net Five Poké Balls. After this, you will have to choose Explore, Catch or Battle.

The quest ends 8pm Tuesday 12 May, so you’ve got a good amount of time to complete it.

Choose Your Path: Explore

If you select Explore, you will get a x5 XP for spinning PokéStops bonus, and the following:

Once completed, you will receive three Pinap Berries and five Rare Candies.

Choose Your Path: Catch

If you select Catch, you will get x1.5 XP when catching Pokémon with Nice Throws and better, as well as the following:

You will also get three Pinap berries and five Rare Candies.

Choose Your Path: Battle

If you opt for Battle, you will get a 5000 XP bonus for completing raids, as well as:

Like the other challenges, you will also get three Pinap Berries and five Rare Candies.

Which Choose Your Path quest should you pick?

If you want to get the most amount of XP possible, we would recommend Catch or Explore. They are also easier than Raiding and Battling.

If we had to narrow it down to one, we would go for Catch, as this is what you will mostly be doing in Pokémon Go anyway, and with that x1.5 XP boost for catching Pokémon with Nice Throws and better, you’re not reliant on coming across PokéStops or Raids.
