Inspired by fighting games such as Dragon Ball FighterZ and Marvel vs. Capcom, Invincible VS pits Mark against characters such as Omni-Man, and more in this 2D tag fighter.
It's not the only new fighter in town, as we have Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls to look forward to, which we were thoroughly impressed by.
But, Invincible VS has the benefit of having a good few months to itself before then, and if you want to know all there is about the game, read on!
When is the Invincible VS release date?
Invincible VS will release on 30 April 2026 on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
While initially only providing a 2026 release year, the confirmed release date was announced during The Game Awards 2025.
So, while it's not as soon as it could have been, just spare a thought for all of us waiting for Injustice 3.

Invincible VS gameplay
Invincible VS is a 3v3 team fighting game, making heavy use of many mechanics featured in team fighters like Marvel vs Capcom and Dragon Ball FighterZ.
Players will choose a team of up to three characters from the Invincible universe, and will be able to make use of tag mechanics to swap them in and out of the fray to rack up crazy combos.
It's unknown whether or not the game will feature assists, as the aforementioned series do, but we imagine that it's highly likely they will be a part of the game.
Unsurprisingly, given the nature of the show itself, Invincible VS features plenty of gore, with the trailer showing some of the blood-spattered combat fans can look forward to, even including what appears to be a Fatality-style mechanic similar to Mortal Kombat.
