As gamers across the globe wait in anticipation for arguably one of the biggest games of all time to drop, Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look is due to have its Netflix premiere tonight.

This will be an extended preview of the game revealing in-depth details, despite a rampant week of leaks that Rockstar called "heartbreaking" in a statement released yesterday.

When is the GTA 6 Extended Look? UK start time confirmed

The preview will first be available as a Netflix live event (so make sure you have a Netflix subscription!) and will be starting in the UK at 8pm on Thursday 27 August.

However, for those of you who don’t have a Netflix subscription, don’t fret! You can still watch GTA 6: An Extended Look when it becomes available for free on YouTube.

For the UK, the preview will be available on Rockstar’s YouTube channel at 1am on Friday 28 August, so make sure you get plenty of beauty sleep beforehand if you're planning to tune in after its Netflix debut.

How to watch the GTA 6 Extended Look on Netflix

If you want to avoid spoilers, then waiting for the YouTube preview to drop a few hours later might not cut it.

With that in mind, if you don’t already have one, a Netflix subscription can be purchased for £5.99 a month.

Once you have an account with Netflix, when 8pm hits all you need to do is follow these steps:

  1. Open up Netflix on your device
  2. Search "GTA 6"
  3. Open up the preview - "Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look"
  4. Press "play"
  5. Enjoy!
