It's time to start playing that iconic theme tune in your head, because The Simpsons are coming to Fortnite very soon indeed!

Name another game that can have K-Pop Demon Hunters and Huggy Wuggy in it one day, and Homer Simpson the next. I'll wait.

In a rare move for the giant developer, Epic Games has announced this collab ahead of time, with a fun little video starring Kang and Kodos (the two dastardly aliens from The Simpsons).

In the video, we see Fortnite players with Simpsons-style yellow skin, and we see the Fortnite original character Fishstick reduced to, well, fish sticks, by the extra-terrestrial baddies.

The Simpsons event in Fortnite looks to be a mini season with a live event attached, so you'll want to get involved before it disappears and the next full season arrives to take its place.

So, when does The Simpsons x Fortnite event release and what can you expect from it? Keep on reading and we'll run through everything you need to know.

The Simpsons in Fortnite release date and UK launch time

The Simpsons collaboration releases in Fortnite on Saturday 1st November 2025.

As for a precise time, we know that the Fortnite Simpsons event will be starting at 3pm GMT.

Both the date and the time were confirmed via a YouTube Short posted to the official Fortnite account.

If you're in another time zone, here's what time the event will begin for you:

What to expect from The Simpsons in Fortnite

For once, we actually know quite a lot about this Fortnite event before it has kicked off. It does happen from time to time!

Unlike many collabs that just add a few cosmetics or an in-game boss to the game, The Simpsons event is reportedly going to be a full-on mini season, similar to the likes of the yearly Star Wars season.

According to noted Fortnite leaker NotPalo, the map will be transformed into Springfield, separated into various iconic locations from the show such as the Springfield Nuclear Plant.

Interestingly, the whole map will also reportedly be cel shaded in order to fit The Simpsons' art style.

This visual twist would certainly chime with the official artwork for the event, which seems to show Fortnite skins with a Simpsons-like yellow colour palette.

Naturally, there will also be some Simpsons skins added to the game, each of which will include their own LEGO variants.

Although none of the skins have been confirmed as of yet, it feels safe to assume that Homer and Marge skins will both be available.

Bart and Lisa would initially seem too short to get their own in-game skins, though one leaked Bart skin has appeared online showing him operating a mechanical suit, effectively making him the same height as everyone else.

Naturally, with so many legendary side characters to choose from, we wouldn't be surprised to see some other skins made available such as Moe Szyslak, Principal Skinner, Ned Flanders, Krusty the Clown and many more.
