England's quest to add a second star to their shirts kicks off later today with a rematch of that dreaded 2018 World Cup semi-final against Croatia, but how do they compare in FC 26?

Thomas Tuchel's first tournament as England manager comes off the back of the most successful spell in the team's modern history, though one still without any silverware; something he will no doubt be desperate to change.

Croatia, on the other hand, have not managed to replicate their 2018 heroics, when they finished runners-up to France, and despite still boasting the likes of Modrić, Kovačić, Perišić and more, it's an aging squad, with Modrić himself now 40 years of age.

With all of that in mind, England v Croatia this evening is set to be a close one, and while England fans will be hoping that youth trumps experience, only time will tell if Kane can kick on and be the man to lead them to victory.

So, for a look at the two squads and how they stack up in EA Sports FC 26, let's get into it.

England v Croatia in FC 26 – How do the team ratings compare?

Unlike eight years ago, England has a much higher rating than Croatia in FC 26.

While still a respectable four-and-a-half star rating compared to Englands five, buoyed by a strong midfield of 81, it still lags behind England's 85.

Things only become more disparate at either end of the pitch, with Croatia boasting only 77 in defence compared to England's 83, and 78 in attack to England's 86.

As such, while Croatia will certainly be able to compete in the centre of the park, the match may well be decided by how well they can fend off England's star-studded attack.
