But with Black Ops 6 getting a full showcase at Summer Game Fest 2024, can we expect to see the next Call of Duty getting the same treatment at the upcoming Summer Game Fest 2025? If so, we may be saying bye-bye to Black Ops 6 content in the not-so-distant future.

Still, there’s plenty of duty to be called to in the here and now, especially with big additions to the Zombies mode that sees a fan favourite return from one of the best Black Ops games!

Even so, we can’t help but wonder where the next Call of Duty will take us, but according to Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming, the next instalment may be a direct sequel to Black Ops 2 set in the near future of the 2030s.

It won’t be long until we find out what it could be, however, but as for now, let’s see what the CoD of today has in store for us.

What changes in CoD BO6 Season 4?

Quite a lot, actually! In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 4, there are new maps, weapons, attachments, Multiplayer modes and more.

A big addition is the return of Grief to Zombies, a mode not seen since Black Ops 2. In Grief, there are two teams of four that compete against each other, on top of the pesky zeds and monsters to take care of.

The new Multiplayer maps are Shutdown, Fugitive and Blitz, which are all set in Iceland. Blitz in particular looks incredible, with the map set on a road in the wake of a prison break, overlooking the beautiful rugged coast.

But there’s far too much to get through here, so check out the patch notes down below!
