This year's PlayStation Days of Play sale has been different, to say the least.

The annual sales period normally sees major discounts across most of PlayStation's hardware, including the PS5 and PS5 Pro, but this year the flagship console has remained at its unfortunate £500+ RRP.

This is hardly surprising considering Sony has only just increased the cost of the PlayStation by £90, citing "market conditions".

However, it's not all doom and gloom as the gaming giant has thrown up one bundle in particular that calls to us over the noise: a major discount on Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Collector's Edition.

This bundle, which includes Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 full game and digital voucher code, a SteelBook Display Case, a 19-inch Collector’s Edition statue and a ton of in game bonuses, is now on sale for £129.99 instead of £219.99.

This same discount has been given to the Ghost of Yotei Collector's Edition and the Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Collector's Edition, overall saving you £90 or 41%.

Here's the details on how you can save and what else you can find in this year's sale.

What is the best PlayStation Days of Play discount for 2026?

Having covered three previous Days of Play sales, three Black Friday sales and three Amazon Prime Day sales, we can say that this year's edition has a lot less on offer.

However, a £90 discount on Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Collector's Edition, the Ghost of Yotei - Collector’s Edition, and the Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Collector's Edition is a standout, as these games are still some of the best to come out on PS5 over the last few years.

If you're looking for a gaming present that has a bit more to it than a standard game, this is definitely one to go for as you get in-game bonuses and physical merchandise.

What else is in the PlayStation Days of Play UK sale?

This year the PlayStation Days of Play sale is limited to bundles and accessories like controllers or the PSVR2. Here's a list of what you can scoop up.
