Alison Graham

Julia Stiles is the young widow of a multimillionaire, who dies when a yacht is blown to smithereens in the sea off Monaco. The police think it was an accident but the young widow knows that Something Is Not Right.

She learns disquieting things about her dead husband (played by Anthony LaPaglia)… maybe he wasn’t the man she thought she knew? Neil Jordan’s flashy, humourless, empty thriller feels a bit like The Persuaders!, that 70s classic, with shots of sparkly, expensive properties, swimming pools, auction houses, sports cars and so on. Stiles does her commendable best in a thankless role. But if you like watching really rich people suffer — this is for you.
