Summary

Jack Seale
One of football’s most unlikely stories sprang up out of nowhere in 2020, when Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney announced their intention to buy non-league club Wrexham AFC. Naturally they had documentary cameras with them from day one, resulting in this emotional documentary series.
That the pair are very funny helps things along to begin with, but soon we see how seriously they take the task of revitalising a club that means everything to the people of the town. It’s a fabulous story, but that doesn’t guarantee success on the pitch.
