Jeremy Clarkson has a farm, Jamie Oliver saved school dinners — now it’s time for Danny Dyer to take the reins in his mission to bring back “the great British holiday” in a series that relaunches the channel Sky One. Alongside daughter Dani, he has big plans to turn a caravan park in Kent into the kind of place he loved as a child.

Sure, he’s run the Queen Vic in EastEnders — but that quickly seems much easier than running a caravan park. Particularly when things don’t get off to the best start. Appearing at the Brit Awards keeps Danny away from the opening of the holiday season, leaving some of the residents bemused — and more than a little peeved — at his seeming lack of involvement in their homes.
