Some uncharitable viewers thought that Halloween had come early when Ross King made his final appearance with a gruesome paso doble dressed as a Thunderbirds puppet, and the pros paid a nightmarish tribute to Minecraft with cardboard boxes on their heads. However, it’s next week’s show that’s Halloween- themed, while tonight they’re paying tribute to icons. Last year Freddie Mercury and Madonna — or at least celebrities dressed as them — were among those on the dancefloor, while Craig Revel Horwood (right) became Barry Gibb from the Bee Gees and Anton Du Beke was Rod Stewart. It’s going to be a hoot.
