Whatever happened to 1970s pop gods Daisy Jones & the Six? They never existed, but this drama tells their story, drawing on the excesses and inner schisms of real groups like Fleetwood Mac to spin a tale about how the best music often stems from personal turmoil. Presented in a semi-mockumentary format, the ten-part series, based on the book of the same name by Taylor Jenkins Reid, stars Riley Keough as fictional frontwoman Daisy.

As well as being a seasoned lead actor who is adept at playing a headstrong wild child, Keough has the right breeding for the role: she is Elvis Presley’s granddaughter.
