Review

David Brown

We tend to think of David Tennant’s debut as the Doctor as being relatively recent, and yet we’re talking two decades ago, people. Back then, there were no live-action Star Wars TV shows, no Marvel Cinematic Universe, and sci-fi fans had yet to inherit the Earth. So, it was essentially Tennant, with his tight suit and semi-quiff, who heralded our current era of geek chic.

To make the 20th anniversary of Tennant’s tenure, we have some Tardis trips down the memory vortex, with repeat showings of his and Catherine Tate’s comeback specials from 2023, followed by the Talking Doctor Who doc.
