Matthew McConaughey took the role in the 2011 movie; now Manuel Garcia-Rulfo is the attorney who works from an old car instead of an office and doesn’t follow the rules of the Los Angeles legal scene.

Showrunner David E Kelley, of Big Little Lies fame, goes back to his roots (he helmed LA Law and Boston Legal) for a snappy, semi-ironic festival of smooth talking with a thriller subplot.
