There’s a great triple-header for ITV’s pundits to sink their teeth into today. The first match, Georgia v Portugal (k/o 1pm), has the potential to be open and high scoring, while the third, South Africa v Ireland (k/o 8pm), promises to be one of the competition’s highlights, with the winner of the crunching encounter likely to emerge at the top of Pool B.

For all that, though, the bulk of today’s attention will inevitably be on England v Chile (k/o 4:45pm). Can England put discipline problems and a blizzard of red cards behind them to put on a show for the fans? Or will lowly Chile, in their first World Cup, spring a surprise? With this current England team, you’re never quite sure…
